  • Manuscript Preparation

Before you submit your manuscripts, please refer to Submission Guide and Paper Template

  • Manuscript Submission

a) Select a journal in the Journal List published by CSP that you find suitable for your manuscripts.
b) Authors may submit their manuscripts either through the online submission System or directly to a journal’s E-mail address. We strongly encourage you to submit your manuscripts online. With the online journal management system that we are using, you will be able to track the progress of your manuscript through the editorial process by logging in to a journal’s website.

  • For Online Submission, please refer to Guidance on Online Submission
  • For Submission of manuscripts via a journal’s E-mail, Please find journals’ E-mail addresses HERE.
  • Manuscript Selection and Publication Process

Step 1: Submission Acknowledgement

If you submit your manuscript online, you will receive a “Submission Acknowledgement” email sent automatically by the online submission system. If you submit your manuscript through a journal email, you will receive an email of confirmation from the editorial assistants within 1-2 working days. If you fail to receive this confirmation, your submission/e-mail may be missed. Please contact the editorial assistants in time.

Step 2: Basic Review

The editor or editorial assistant determines whether a manuscript fits the journal’s aim and scope. Then, the manuscript is checked for its similarity index by CrossCheck, powered by iThenticate.

Step 3: Peer review

We use double-blind system for peer-review. Both reviewers and authors’ identities remain anonymous. A manuscript will be peer-reviewed by at least three experts: one editorial staff and two external reviewers. The review process may take 2-3 weeks.

Step 4: Acceptance/Rejection Decision

The decision to accept or reject a manuscript is based on suggestions of reviewers. If differences of opinion occur between reviewers, the editor-in-chief will weigh all comments and arrive at a balanced decision based on all comments, or a second round of peer review may be initiated.

Step 5: Notification of the result of review to the corresponding authors by E-mail.

Step 6: Revision and Payment of publication fee

The authors are asked to make revisions based on comments from both the editorial board and external reviewers. Then, they should pay a publication fee for the accepted manuscripts. We publish Print + Open Access journals, which allow all interested readers to view, download, print, and redistribute any article without a subscription fee, enabling far greater distribution of an author’s work than the traditional subscription-based publishing model. In a print + open access model, the publication cost of a manuscript is paid from an author in the form of Article Publication Fee. These Article Publication Fees replace subscription charges and allow publishers to make the full-text of every published article freely available to all interested readers. As a Print + Open Access publisher, CSP has to charge a publication fee to cover the high publication costs, which cover but not limit to the following items: printing, postage of hard copies, Crossref and Crosscheck fees, typesetting and proofreading, editorial staff salary and other costs incurred in managing and operating a journal.

Step 7: E-version First Publication and Printed Publication

Manuscripts will be shortly published online upon completion of revision and payment of publication fee. Printed version will be published in the scheduled volume and issue.

Step 8: Post-publication

Online PDF version of a manuscript is free to access and download. After publication of the printed journals, two hard copies of the journals will be sent to the corresponding author.
