Early childhood education and family involvement play vital roles in shaping a child's cognitive development and academic outcomes, as well as contributing to the reduction of educational inequalities. This review explores the existing literature on the effects of early childhood education programs and the interaction between home and school environments on children's cognitive and non-cognitive development.
