The construction of highway projects is a relatively complex and systematic task, especially the route selection in the preliminary design, which directly affects the smooth completion of the entire project. Therefore, it is necessary to take reasonable and feasible technical measures to optimize the route, and evaluate it through corresponding methods after determining the route plan. In the future, research on highway route selection technology should be intensified. In addition to improving and perfecting existing methods, new technologies should also be developed to better serve the construction of highway projects.
